So I thought I should throw something here so I remember what I was thinking when I created this. I have just had a sudden compulsion to pursue abstractness of the benign - or something. I keep running into paintings that are usually "abstract" in the sense they lack definition rather than being an abstraction of definition (at least to my non-artistic eye). Usually these paintings have powerful usage of colour and lack subject, at least explict subject although I'm sure implicit subject exists within the designed reaction to the painting. Still I can't seem to find a field of formal art that encompasses this form of painting and at the moment I'm just going through some DeviantArt stuff. Anyway here's to the pursuit of Nothing's abstraction.
